New Iskolar ng Bataan Orientation Scheme |

 It's been a regular activity of the scholarship committee to conduct an orientation for new selected scholars for each school year, in order for them to become fully aware of the guidelines of the provincial scholarship program. Basically, the orientation is headed by the committee members, which shows their commitment by disseminating information to the scholars together with their parents, for proper implementation of the vision and mission of the program. After several years of conducting the orientation of all the scholars in a single day event, the committee members deliberately agreed with the new scholar orientation scheme.
The recently concluded orientation scheme is constrained by batching, with the basis of locality. One of the objectives of this approach is to give the scholars and the guardians, sufficient time for airing their concerns regarding the scholarship program. Also with this, the scholars' record for a particular session is classified accordingly and systematically as to their municipality.

Ang programang pang-edukasyon ni Gob. Tet Garcia at ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan na lubhang inaabangan lalo na ng mga mahihirap ngunit matatalinong kabataan at ng kanilang mga magulang ay ang College Scholarship Program na binansagang “Iskolar ng Bataan”.
Kasangga ni Gob. Tet sa programang ito ang kanyang anak na muling nahalal bilang kinatawan ng ikalawang distrito ng Bataan, si Cong. Abet Garcia, na tulad ng kanyang ama ay naniniwalang edukasyon ang susi sa magandang kinabukasan at ito’y sigurado kung ang isang tao ay nakatapos ng kolehiyo.
Tatlumpung milyong piso 30M ang inilalaan sa programang ito taun-taon, 20 milyon mula sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan at 10 milyon mula sa pondo ni Cong. Abet.
Pinakikinabangan ito ng may 2,000 iskolar mula sa unang distrito ng bataan na sumasakop sa mga bayan ng Abucay, Samal, Orani, Hermosa, Dinalupihan at Morong.
At dahil sa pondong idinagdag ni Cong. Abet, may 4,000 iskolar naman ang nagbebenepisyo mula sa ikalawang distrito na sumasakop sa Balanga City, Pilar, Orion, Limay, Mariveles at Bagac para sa kabuuang 6,000 college scholars, pinakamarami na ng isang lalawigan sa buong pilipinas, na tumatanggap ng ayudang P5,000.00 bawat isa kada taon.
Lalong sumigla ang programa lalo na para sa mga scholars buhat sa Balanga City nang mahalal bilang alkalde ng naturang Component City noong 2007 election ang isa pang guwapo at matalinong anak ni Gob. Tet, si Mayor Joet Garcia!
Naglaan si Mayor Joet at ang Sangguniang Panglungsod ng P10 milyong karagdagang pondo para madoble ang P5,000 na taunang ipinagkakaloob sa isang iskolar buhat sa siyudad, kaya’t ang mga scholars ng Balanga City ay nakakatanggap na ngayon ng P10,000.00 bawat isa kada taon.
