Likha ng Central Luzon goes hybrid for 2021

Likha ng Central Luzon goes hybrid this 2021 amidst the pandemic. Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Regional Director Leonila Baluyut said the 23rd edition is set from October 13-17.
“This year, the Likha Trade Fair will use both online and physical platforms in order for our micro small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) to promote and sell their products to a wider audience. DTI, as the organizer, will provide an easily accessible online platform that will allow buyers to see, order, buy and pay for the best products of the region through the Likha ng Central Luzon website and the Facebook page of DTI Region 3 – Central Luzon,” Baluyut shared.

Those who want to participate in the fair virtually may do so by visiting the website https://www.likhangcentralluzon.com or thru its Facebook Page Likha ng Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, those who opt for the physical trade fair may visit the following sites: SM City Cabanatuan, SM City Olongapo Central, SM City Pampanga, SM City San Fernando Downtown, SM City Telabastagan, SM City Tarlac and WalterMart Malolos.
Baluyut urged the public to participate in the trade fair, citing that this is the best time to support local entrepreneurs who have been affected by the present pandemic.

She said sellers from Aurora are expected to showcase their well-known bags, cacao, art crafts, antique and sabutan products while Bataan MSMEs will sell their bamboo, marine products and cashew delicacies.
Bulacan will showcase their turmeric products, bags and sauces. Entrepreneurs from Nueva Ecija will showcase their barongs, footwear, meat and mushroom products to the fair.

Also, Pampanga participants will sell their famous delicacies, herbs, furniture, housewares and delicacies; Tarlac will showcase their pottery, home décor and lanterns; while Zambales will promote their best products such as cashew, dairy products, sweets, and coconut-based products.
Likha ng Central Luzon is the major regional promotion activity held annually since 1999.
It serves as the culminating activity of a package of industry and trade related programs given to MSMEs in the region such as training programs/seminars, business consulting, design and labeling, product development and cliniquing.

These activities aim to develop the technical capabilities of MSMEs and eventually, help them gain more market exposure, and enable them to earn more.
This year’s edition is organized by DTI in partnership with PhilExport, Regional Development Council, Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation Inc., SM and WalterMart.
