Vice Gov. Cris Garcia led the planting of tree seedlings in the province in observance of Arbor Day on Saturday.

“We strongly support this kind of activity for our environment”, said Board Member Popoy Del Rosario who planted tree seedlings with the vice governor in Barangay Alangan, Limay.

Glensy Diwa, OIC PDRRMO, said that Civil Defense Administrator Usec. Ricardo Jalad and OCD RD Cesar Idio joined the Arbor Day celebration in the province. Employees from selected departments of the provincial capitol, also partcipated in the planting activity in two sites, Barangays Duale and Alangan in Limay town. Bataan PNP led by Bataan Provincial Police Director Rommel Velasco also joined the tree planting activity.

A total of 1,000 narra seedlings, 700 cashew seedlings, and 300 fruit-bearing trees seedlings (calamansi, lemon, kamias, santol, guyabano, and langka) were planted.
