Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Bataan members attended the 3-day Provincial Board Members League of the Philippines (PBMLP) 11th Visayas Island Conference in Mandaue City, Cebu.

The provincial legislators who attended were PBMLP Bataan and PBMLP Region 3 President Board Member Manny Beltran, Board Members Noel Valdecanas, Popoy Del Rosario, Jorge Estanislao, Angel Sunga, Iya Roque, Tony Roman, Jomar Gaza, Benjie Serrano, SK Bataan Federation President and ex officio Board Member Precious Manuel, and Provincial IP Representative and ex officio Board Member Feliciano Magay.

The conference had the theme, “Rejuvenating the Fundamentals of Good Governance through Responsive and Legislative Performance”. Discussed were 1) Understanding the Seal of Good Governance Parameters and 2) Presentation of Best Practices of Local Legislation. Roman was also appointed general legal counsel of PBMLP during the conference. The event was held on September 18-20, 2023 at Bai Hotel, Mandaue City, Cebu.
