BIR Revenue District 20 (BIR Bataan) is ISO Certified. This was relayed by BIR Bataan Admin and HR Head Gemo Espinosa adding it was achieved with BIR Bataan Revenue District Officer Merlyn Vicente at the helm. He said the accomplishment entails team effort and dedication to do proper record system, efficienlty serve taxpayers, and implement the Citizen’s Charter.

He said an independent entity audits their implementation of Citizen’s Charter.

He announced that an independent audit this November for ISO Certication of BIR Bataan will again be conducted for the 3rd year. Being ISO Certified, means BIR Bataan is maintaining its system as per International Standard which is applicable and acceptable worldwide, it was explained.

Vicente earlier said that BIR Bataan remains committed to the provide “service at its best” to the taxpaying public. Espinosa said that BIR Bataan office has 17 counters manned by courteous, efficient personnel who wiil dutifully attend to taypayers’ needs. The Bataan BIR office is located at the 3rd floor of Galeria Victoria (Robinson’s Store), Balanga City.
