Congresswoman Gila Garcia urged parents last Friday (Oct. 14) to bring their 3 to 5 -year old children to day-care centers in their respective barangays for proper upbringing.

Ms. Garcia spoke before a group of parents and health workers during the blessing of Dalao Day-Care Center in Barangay Dalao, Dinalupihan.

The center is among the projects initiated by Garcia when she was the town mayor.

She said it is in the day-care center where children learn to become good citizens of the community.

“It is in the center where the young people learn to practice personal hygiene and proper nutrition, and most of all, moral values that make them good citizens,” she explained.

Mayor German Santos who was with the congresswoman during the blessing thanked Gila for the project and said he expects more infrastructure projects will be implemented in Dinalupihan in the coming years.
