Despite the three-year successful operation of 1Bataan Agri-Innotech Corp., Congresswoman Maria Angela S. Garcia of Bataan Third District wants more innovations to benefit more farmers in Dinalupihan town.

The former mayor of Dinalupihan brought up the idea of establishing a model farm suitable for type of soil for local farmers during last Friday’s farm visit and technical assessment of performance of onion, tomato and cucumber using the drip irrigation system.

After the three-year work up, a number of challenges were met and endured by the farmers and other people behind the project.

“But we are satisfied with the support extended by various agencies,” Cong. Gila said.

She made it clear that the 1Bataan Agri-Innotech is in the right direction.

She, however, wants to find out what other high value crops are suitable for soil in the said municipality.

“Napakaganda ng lupa natin, let us use them to the fullest where we can succeed,” she added.
