DA ATI 3 assesses BPSU Abucay techno demo farm

The Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Training Institute 3 (DA ATI 3) inspected and conducted an annual assessment of the techno demo farm in Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Abucay campus.

DA ATI 3 officers Zarah Jane Sedrijas and Joan F. Parayno recently visited the campus-based Techno Demo Farm on Diversified Organic Farm in Upland Ecosystem for monitoring and assessment.

The techno demo farm is an accredited learning site for agriculture (LSA Farming). The techno-demo farm was applied to ATI as a learning site for agriculture in June 2021.

LSA is a farm that uses applicable agricultural technology, employs feasible farming strategies, and is operating successfully.

The Agriculture Research and Development Innovation Center (OARDIC) operates at BPSU Abucay campus where the techno demo farm is established.

The visit of ATI 3 to Techno Demo Farm on Diversified Organic Farm in Upland Ecosystem for monitoring and assessment was the first since its establishment.

The ATI 3 officers inspected the techno demo farms on organic crops and livestock and conducted interviews together with VPRET secretariat and OARDIC staff.

BPSU Vice President for Research, Extension and Training Services Dr. Hermogenes M. Paguia is the project leader of the Campus Based Techno Demo Farm on Diversified Organic Farm in Upland Ecosystem.
