Third District Congresswoman Gila Garcia has filed a bill seeking to establish a high school for sports in Bataan. She filed House Bill 00355, “An Act Creating a High School For Sports In the Municipality of Bagac, Province of Bataan to be Known as Bataan High School For Sports and Appropriating Funds Therefor.”

The bill was filed June on 30, 2022 and read on July 26, 2022. The bill is pending at the Committee on Basic Education and Culture.

The school complements with the construction of Philippine Sports Training Center in Barangay Parang in the same town.

The modern training center will house 39 sports facilities for aquatics, athletics, gymnastics, weightlifting, and taekwondo, among others. Bataan District 3 is consist of towns Mariveles, Bagac, Morong, and Dinalupihan.
