Maharlika Village to rise in Limay

In pursuit of realizing the Provincial Government of Bataan’s vision of “Matatag na Pamilyang Bataeño,” Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, together with 2nd District Representative Congressman Albert S. Garcia, Limay Mayor Nelson David, Vice Mayor Richie David, and Pag-IBIG CEO Marilene Acosta, led the groundbreaking ceremony for Maharlika Village in Barangays Kitang 2 and Luz, as well as Sitio Saay and Sitio Mamala in Barangay San Francisco de Asis last October 25, 2023. The blessing of Mamala Village was also held, with Rev. Fr. Edgar Viscarra leading the ceremony.

In his speech, Gov. Joet Garcia emphasized the importance of these housing villages to the residents of Limay, as they address one of the fundamental needs of every family, contributing to their overall stability and a better quality of life.

Similarly, Cong. Abet Garcia stressed that the housing villages would serve as a beacon of hope for everyone and as a preparation for the continuous increase in the labor force due to the ongoing economic development in the province.

Limay Mayor Nelson David expressed his gratitude to everyone who worked tirelessly to make Maharlika Village in the municipality a reality. Also present at the event were the members of Sangguniang Bayan of Limay, barangay officials, and representatives from Pag-IBIG Bataan.
