The Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO) in partnership with Invest Balanga held its first on-site Galing! Bataan and 3rd Invest Balanga Awards Night anchored on the theme, “Husay at tatag ng Bataeno, Susi sa Maunlad na Pagnenegosyo” last July 29, at Emiliana Hall, City of Balanga.
Galing! Bataan Award is given to the MSMEs who are in operation for at least three years, duly registered with appropriate government agencies, and with a progressive track record in their respective businesses; while Invest Balanga Award is given to the businesses who are consistent in paying their Real Property Tax.
In relation to the recovery of the economic industry in Bataan, Rampver Financials President and CEO Rex Mendoza shared his valuable insights on some of the strategies related to business branding and knowledge, how to market their businesses effectively, especially during this time of the pandemic.
Governor Joet Garcia graced the said event together with Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Congressman Abet Garcia, Congressman Jett Nisay, Congresswoman Gila Garcia, Balanga City Mayor Francis Garcia, Limay Vice Mayor Richie David, and Board Member Tony Roman.
A total of 38 MSMEs participated in this year’s Galing! Bataan Awards while 50 businesses participated in the 3rd Invest Balanga Awards.
The Provincial Government of Bataan is hopeful that with the continuous help and cooperation of the different agencies and the business sector in the province, MSMEs and Businesses will rise in the coming years as the economy in Bataan is slowly getting back after the struggles during the pandemic.
