Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Abucay Campus Extension and Training Services Office Chairperson Dr. Rina Q. Paguia was accorded the first-ever Gawad Medina Lacson Extension Services Award or the 2021 Outstanding Extension Award for her Community Mushroom Extension Project.

Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training Services Dr. Hermogenes Paguia led the awarding ceremonies recently held at Limbagan Pinpin, Abucay. The Community Mushroom Extension Project was also awarded 2021 Outstanding Extension Project/Team. Another member of the team awarded in the ceremony was Christian Balba.

BPSU Extension Office Director Dr. Bernadeth Gabor launched this year the annual university-wide awarding of outstanding extension projects and extensionists.
“We hope the award will encourage more university faculty members to conduct or join extension projects’”, said vice president Paguia.
