SB Mariveles bares first year accomplishments

The Sangguniang Bayan of Mariveles headed by Vice Mayor Lito Rubia bared its accomplishments for the first year.

SB Mariveles reported they have passed 44 general ordinances and 8 appropriation ordinances; and 241 resolutions. They also reported that they have solved 9 out of 10 administrative cases, approved 179 new franchises; renewed 836 franchises; and dropped 179 franchises. They have issued 982 municipal stickers and accredited 75 NGOs.

“Sa loob ng isang taon, ginawa po ng inyong Sangguniang Bayan ang aming ambag upang mas lalong bumuti ang kalagayan ng pamumuhay ng ating mga kababayan, at umunlad ang Bayan ng Mariveles”, SB Mariveles stated.

“Sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan at pagkakaisa ng mga kasapi nito, mas naging mabilis ngunit mabusisi at masusi ang aksyon ng inyong Sangguniang Bayan ng Mariveles sa mga idinudulog dito, mula sa ibat-ibang departamento ng pamahalaang bayan hanggang sa hinaing ng mga ordinaryong mamamayan”, SB Mariveles further stated.

 

Rubia said SB Mariveles will continue to pass needed ordinances and resolutions to improve the lives of Mariveles folks. He said that they will keep working harmoniously with Mayor AJ Concepcion to better serve the people of Mariveles without sacrificing check and balance.

Other members of SB Mariveles are Councilor Ronald Arcenal, Councilor Susan Murillo, Councilor Ivan Ricafrente, Councilor Joey Carandang, Councilor Dan Banal, Councilor Omar Cornejo, Councilor Vonnel Isip, Councilor Jeff Penaloza, ABC Municipal Federation Pres. Jun Villapando, SK Municipal Federation Pres. Vince Banzon, and IP Municipal Rep. Richard Maingat.
