First District Board Member Tony Roman urged campus journalists to seek and tell the truth. “Ang pagiging journalist ay pagiging truth teller ngunit bago ka maging truth teller, dapat maging truth seeker ka muna”, he told campus journalists in Bataan attending the recent Division School Press Conference (DSPC) where he was guest speaker.

“Pananagutan natin na hanapin ang katotohanan”, he added. Roman shared he is a lawyer, a content creator, and a public servant, and that like a journalist he always endeavors to be on the side of the truth. He also urged campus journalists to improve their craft. “Magbasa at magsulat kayo nang madalas, kapag nagkakamali kayo, gumagaling kayo”, he advised. Roman disclosed he was also a campus journalist.
