Following the recent onslaught of Typhoons Egay and Falcon in Bataan, Senator Jinggoy Estrada extended help to affected tricycle drivers in the province, with the exception of the Municipality of Dinalupihan and the City of Balanga, on September 14, 2023, at the Doña Francisca Covered Court in Balanga City.

In his brief message, Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III expressed gratitude to Sen. Estrada for his generosity and concern for Bataeño families. Governor Garcia added that this financial assistance would support the beneficiaries’ families in meeting their everyday needs and recovering from the days when they couldn’t operate due to the aforementioned typhoons. Senator Jinggoy Estrada also mentioned that he reached out to Gov. Garcia after the province declared a State of Calamity to offer assistance to Bataeños in need.

Furthermore, Sen. Estrada expressed his commitment to helping Bataeño families when the need arises. A total of 972 beneficiaries received Php 5,000 in financial assistance through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).
