Senator Win Gatchalian visited Bataan on Saturday and donated rice to Bataeño families severely-affected by the back-to-back typhoons Egay and Falcon.

The distribution of rice was managed by local government units in the province, ensuring a smooth and targeted delivery to the families in need. Bataan Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III expressed his gratitude for the Senator’s continued support, acknowledging the importance of collaboration in responding to such disasters.

The Province was placed under a State of Calamity last July 29 this year due to the damages to infrastructure and agriculture caused by the typhoons.

Key local figures, including Bataan 3rd District Representative Maria Angela Garcia, Hermosa Mayor Antonio Joseph Inton, Orani Mayor Efren Pascual Jr. joined Sen. Gatchalian in the said activity. Their united efforts underscore shared responsibility in assisting affected families and facilitating recovery.
