SSS Balanga Branch joined the simultaneous nationwide conduct of Run After Contribution Evaders (RACE) on Tuesday. SSS Balanga Branch Head Joel Y. Villafuerte and Acting Assistant Branch Head Victor S. Villanueva spearheaded the team that conducted RACE operation in Balanga City.

The team swooped down on eight delinquent businesses and reminded them of the obligation of remitting their employees’ contributions. The team urged negligent business owners to respond within the 10-day period to avoid legal consequences. SSS said non-remittance of employees’ contribution is tantamount to depriving them of their right to social security and benefit. SSS Balanga Branch has been conducting RACE operations since its inception for contribution compliance of businesses in its jurisdiction.
