Through the initiative of Governor Abet Garcia, the Kaisahan ng mga Sasakyang Namamasada sa Bataan (KASAKBAYAN) received relief goods from the Provincial Government of Bataan last December 3.
Said organization is composed of 22 transport groups from all over the province, including associations, cooperatives, and businesses. Included in the relief packs they received are 5 kilograms of grains, canned goods, coffee, and noodles

In a letter addressed to Governor Abet, KASAKBAYAN officials expressed their gratitude. “Ang KASAKBAYAN Kaisahan ng mga Sasakyang Namamasada sa Bataan ay nagpapaabot ng aming taus-pusong pasasalamat sa inyong ibinigay na tulong sa aming mga kasapi. Malaking tulong po sa amin ang kaloob ninyong ito, lalo na ngayong ang aming hanap buhay ay pinadapa ng pandemya at hindi pa lubos na nakakabangon.”

Due to the pandemic, the number of commuters in the province has decreased, still said transport groups continue to provide service to commuters. The distribution of relief items is intended to express the province’s gratitude for our transportation groups’ tireless services.
