Regional Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (RADDL)
Schedule of Availability of the Service: MONDAY TO FRIDAY (8:00 am to 5:00 pm without noon break)
Who may avail the Service: Pet owner/ Victim
What are the Requirements needed? Person’s involve and Head of the animal to be examine
Duration: 20 minutes for the History of incident / 1-2 days for the Result of Laboratory Exam
How to avail the service?

|1||Visit to PVO and look for Mrs. Ma. Doleres Gara||a. Record the name, address, and contact number of the client.
b. Conduct interview and fill up the Rabies Submission Form.

|2||Provide the information needed and follow the instructions.||a. Check vaccination certificate of the dog/pet if there’s any, stating data of dog/pet being vaccinated by anti-rabies.
b. If not instruct the owner/victim to observe the animal for 14 days.
c. If the animal died instruct the proper disposal of the animal’s body and ask for the head of the animal properly sealed in a container with ice.
d. Instruct the victim for post-vaccination at the Bataan General Hospital.

|3||If the animal died before/after 14 days of observation, bring the head of the animal in the PVO||a. Bring the animal head to the Regional office for examination on Negre Rabies.
b. Call the client for the result of the examination.

Continue the Post-vaccination.

b. Advise the victim to continue the post-vaccination program for the prevention of disease.
