Bagac Community and Medicare Hospital

Responsible for overall management and administration of the hospital; formulation of policies; plans, programs and strategies to ensure implementation of health standards for the attainment of quality health care and high standards of clinical training for medical and allied medical personnel; and the day-to-day supervision and administration of the functional units.

Bataan Human Settlement Office

Facilitates, promotes, coordinates and manages integrated human settlements, emergency housing, and upgrading of informal settlements within the province.

Provincial Information Office

Responsible for creating and enabling communication between the province and both news media outlets and the general public.

Office of the Vice-Governor

The presiding officer of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and signs all warrant drawn on the Provincial treasury for all expenditures appropriated for the operation of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

Office of the Provincial Accountant

Installs and maintains an internal audit system in the Province; prepare and submit financial statements to the Governor, Sanggunian and all agencies concerned; certify to the availability of allotment to which expenditures and obligations may properly charge; maintain all accounting books and documents such as general subsidiary ledgers, index cards, journals, etc.

Provincial Governor’s Office

Manages and supervises the PGO staff including the financial processing unit and social services except IAS, OSM, MIS, BPPPIC; Iskolar ng Bataan; cultural heritage and preservation, housing and other community affairs programs that shall remain under the direct supervision of the Provincial Administrator.

Provincial Administrator’s Office

Responsible in the development and implementation of plans and strategies concerning the management and administration for the delivery of services to public.

Provincial Legal Office

Takes charge of the legal services, provide legal assistance and support to the governor and development plans and strategies particularly programs and projects related to legal services.

Office of the Provincial Agriculturist

Prepares and implements an integrated agriculture development plan for the province, promotes appropriate agriculture technology to maximize utilization and production as well as protection of agricultural areas.

Provincial Engineer’s Office

Performs engineering and surveying functions, including constructions, repair and maintenance of roads, bridges, public buildings and other infrastructure facilities and utilities.

Public Employment Services Office

The PESO is a one-stop center established to provide employment information and assistance to the DOLE clients and constituents of local government units (LGU’s).

Provincial Assessor’s Office

Takes charge of the classification, appraisal, assessment and valuation of all real properties of the province, which shall be used as the basis for taxation, as well as preparation, installation and maintenance of a tax mapping system and records management.

Provincial General Services Office

Acts as custodian of all provincial properties and assets, procures supplies, materials and equipment for various offices, maintains and promotes cleanliness of the premises of the Bunker Building, and other public places, provides manpower support during special activities of the provincial government.

Provincial Veterinary Office

Provides technical assistance in the prevention and control of animal diseases, animal production and animal health management of domesticated farm animals.

Provincial Health Office

Coordinates integrated implementation of a comprehensive health and medical and dental services, promotes environmental sanitation and enforces health and sanitation standards.

Provincial Population Office

Mobilizes community workers to map and locate couples and individuals with unmet need for family planning, conduct community-based demand generation and referral activities, and ensure provisions of quality modern family planning information and services guided by the principle of informed choice and voluntarism.

Provincial Planning and Development Office

Formulates integrated economic, social, physical, environmental and other development programs and projects for consideration and approval of the Chief Executive.

Provincial Human Resources & Management Office

Establishes a sound recruitment and personnel selection system within the provincial government; assists in the development and formulation of policies, rules and regulations in all areas of personnel management in accordance with the Civil Service Law and rules, provides inputs in the development and implementation of human resource training and development programs, maintains a complete and up-to-date personnel information system.

Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office

Protects and manages the proper utilization of the province’s environment and natural resources, pursues sustainable programs and projects directly related to environment and ecosystems such as solid waste management, air and water pollution and watershed protections.

Provincial Cooperative & Enterprise Development Office

Supports, assists and mandates to provide technical support to the cooperatives in the province through capability building on leadership through the development of cooperatives, new economic enterprises and provides alternative sources of income through livelihood projects, so as to improve the economic and social conditions of its constituents.

Provincial Budget Office

Prepares the provincial budget in accordance with the prescribed guidelines issued by the Department of Budget and Management in order to conform with the mandates of RA 7160 and local Budget Matrix and Allotment Release Order, Responsible for the review of annual and supplemental budget of the municipalities and city.

Provincial Treasurer’s Office

Acts as custodian of all provincial government funds and its corresponding records. Responsible for the collection of all revenues due to the Province and the disbursement of funds pursuant to existing laws and regulations as well as the maintenance of its corresponding records. Inspects the operation of public utilities and all private commercial and industrial establishments in accordance with its local tax ordinances.

Provincial Tourism Office

Promotes and develops tourism as one of the major socio-economic activities that generates income and employment and spreads the benefits of tourism to a wider segment of the population with the support and assistance of private and public sector; assures safe, convenient and enjoyable stay and travel of foreign and local tourist in the province.

Provincial Warden

Provide healthful environment care, and sanitation among inmates and or detainees for their upliftment to become a good citizen in their respective communities.

Sangguniang Panlalawigan

Prepares and issues certified true copied of ordinances, resolutions, memoranda and notices of Sanggunian committees, public hearings and other legislative services.

Iskolar ng Bataan

Supervises, coordinates, orients and leads in overall flow of activities of Iskolar ng Bataan.

Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office

Provides social protection and promote the rights and welfare of the poor, vulnerable and the disadvantaged individual, family and community to contribute to poverty alleviation and empowerment through social welfare and development policies, programs, projects and services implemented with or through local government units, non-government organizations, other government offices and other members of civil society in the province.

Bataan Public-Private Partnership and Investment Center

Strengthens support to local government entities in developing and implementing their infrastructure and development projects that involves government(s) and business(es) that work together to complete a project and/or to provide services to the public.

Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office

Implements required actions and measures pertaining to all aspects of disaster risk reduction and management, including good governance, risk assessment and early warning, knowledge building and awareness raising, reducing underlying risk factors and preparedness for effective response and early recovery.

Metro Bataan Development Office

Takes charge of the transport and traffic management of the province which includes the formulation, coordination and monitoring of policies, standards, programs and projects to rationalize the existing transport operations, infrastructure requirements, the use of thoroughfares, and promotions of safe and convenient movement of persons and goods, provisions for the mass transport system and the institution of a system to regulate road users; administration and implementation of all traffic education programs.

Cultural Heritage Preservation Division

The Cultural Heritage Preservation Division is responsible for the preservation of the province's cultural heritage through various programs of the Provincial Government.

Provincial Information Technology Office

Takes charge of the management and safeguarding of all the information resources and ICT equipment of the province by developing information systems and ensuring the reliability of network at all times.

Internal Audit Services

The Internal Audit Services (IAS) is mandated to conduct a separate evaluation or appraisal of internal control system to determine whether controls are well designed and properly implemented. In the conduct of evaluation, the IAS shall determine the extent of compliance and assess the adequacy of controls embedded in operating and support systems/units, as well as evaluate the performance of programs, projects, and activities of the LGU.
